On January 7, 2019 in New York City, BOSSA NOVA NOITES presented "The Brazil Concert" wtih the support of the Consulate General of Brazil in New York, the Brazilian - American Chamber of Commerce, the Anne Fontaine Foundation, and others.

 

The performance featured Bossa Nova Noites Executive Musical Director Larry Williams with Alexandra Jackson and Brazilian music legends Duduka da Fonseca and Helio Alves.

The special concert event honored Brazilian music during the celebration of Bossa Nova's first 60 years.  

 

The event also celebrated Alexandra Jackson's "Legacy & Alchemy" album - which features the late icons: Antonio Carlos Jobim, Miles Davis, Al Jarreau, Oscar Castro-Neves, Rod Temperton, Dona Ivone Lara and Arthur Maia, and Living Legends Ivan Lins, Carlinhos Brown, Banda Black Rio, Hubert Laws, Siedah Garrett, Paulo Jobim, Daniel Jobim, and Grammy and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members of Earth, Wind & Fire: Larry Dunn and Al McKay!
